Jane Astara Ashley, M.A., is a Publishing Strategist, Master Ghostwriter, and visionary book midwife devoted to amplifying women’s voices and catalyzing transformational storytelling. With over two decades of experience in corporate publishing, brand management, and creative direction, and 15 years as founder of Flower of Life Press and River Rose Media, Jane has guided hundreds of authors in solo-authored books and collective anthologies. Her publishing house serves as a vessel for transformational literature that uplifts consciousness, awakens compassion, and weaves wholeness into the world.
Before founding her own press, Jane worked as a transpersonal psychotherapist and art therapist, weaving creativity, spirituality, and healing into her clients’ journeys. These roots—psychological, spiritual, and creative—still ground her publishing work today. As an ordained Priestess and mentor, she brings sacred presence, archetypal wisdom, and Christian mystical insight to her role as a guide, offering authors a rare blend of professionalism, intuition, and heart.
Jane is passionate about helping women remember their wholeness, reclaim their voices, and rise in self-expression. Through her writing and publishing mentorship and sacred connection circles, she creates safe, soul-nourishing spaces where stories are birthed as offerings of love and truth.
She is the creator of the critically acclaimed, international bestselling anthology, Magdalene Unveiled—along with the telesummit experience—that features 33 contributing authors. Her forthcoming book, Flowing with Grace: 7 Steps to Navigate Change in Turbulent Times, distills decades of personal growth and spiritual wisdom into a compassionate guide for those navigating transition.
Jane is a professional speaker and has spoken on telesummits and live stages, including Lincoln Center in NYC. She is a guest teacher along with Andrew Harvey in an upcoming course created by Kristina Wood called, “Shamanic Mystical Nature Journeys—Uncover the Magic of the Real World.”
A devoted mother of three grown daughters, Jane lives in North Carolina with her beloved husband and their rescue dog, Kona. She delights in walking the Haw River trails, savoring meals from local farms, and kayaking on weekends, while continuing to weave community and sacred storytelling across the globe.
